JEWELRY
Handmade jewelry has been
around as long as humankind and beads are one of the oldest
forms of personal adornment known, dating back to pre-historic
times. The basis for my inspirations come from ancient shapes and forms
which are incorporated with modern influences.
My designs are personally constructed with a variety of
material: Enamel on copper and fine silver, hand-made Murano glass from Venice Italy, Bali silver,
Czech glass, Austrian crystal, handmade lampwork & furnace
beads, hematite, semi-precious stones, and sandalwood. I’m
particularly attracted to materials that respond to light so you
will see much of the jewelry is made with translucent and
reflective materials.
